Description: Very well known for its tasty contribution to the culinary world, but the aiding properties of onion essential oil are not well known. A distinct aroma, with antibacterial, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, and hypnotic assets.

Blends well with bergamot, clary sage, lavender, geranium, jasmine, neroli, patchouli, tea tree, rose, lemon, and ylang ylang essential oils.

Extracted through steam distillation of the bulb. Originates from USA and Mexico.

"Ok, let me tell ya' this stuff is POTENT! I am not kidding here. Do NOT drop this bottle, which I have not done yet, but am very very clumsy most of the time, so am a bit nervous handling this teeny bottle. Yes, it is a very small bottle, but you only need a drop. One drop is like the juice of an entire onion. It is like magic! How do they do that anyway? I bought this because I am getting some grey hair and I read that you can put this on your scalp because onion has enzyme catalase and has been used for centuries as a topical treatment and home remedy for grey hair. I don't know if it will help with grey hair yet, because I have only been using it for a couple of weeks. I mix this with Castor Oil which is also suppose to help with grey or thinning hair and hair health and grape seed oil. I put 3 drops of this in a quarter cup and it was MORE than enough. I have it in an eye dropper; REALLY need to get a plastic bottle applicator, and will this week. I put it on my scalp and scrub it in and then put a shower cap on for 20 minutes and then shower it out. I tell you my hair looks and feels great. Like I said, not sure about the grey yet, but hubby says my hair is darker and looks like I just colored it. I think it looks darker because it is shinier. Love it!" - P. Williams
