You can make this DIY Soothing Lavender & Frankincense Oatmeal Soak for the Bath!  This recipe combines Lavender, Frankincense, oatmeal, baking soda and epsom salt.  Lavender with its, floral, herbaceous, fresh aroma, is a must for relaxing and calming and to balance energy.  Frankincense is often used in popular perfume brands in the world. It can also be used cosmetically in creams for skin treatments. Oatmeal can be moisturizing, soothing, and inflammation-relieving for the skin. Taking care of your skin by bathing is a great way to detox.

The following recipe for this soothing bath soak* is easy and very relaxing.

DIY Soothing Lavender & Frankincense Oatmeal Soak for the Bath:

In Your Home:

  • 1/2 Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Quick Oats
  • 1 cup Epsom Salt

From Biosource Naturals:

Directions:  Grind the oats to a fine powder in a food processor or coffee grinder.   Mix all the ingredients listed about together in a glass container.  Use above making sure the oils are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.  Use one cup in your bath.

This makes a great gift for the holiday for teachers, neighbors, your nanny, and even stocking stuffers.  Dollar stores have many nice glass containers and you can personalize the jar with your own label and other decorative items like bows, sprigs of lavender, etc.
