Essential Oils for Constipation

essential oils for constipationEssential oils for constipation naturally support bowel function and digestion. Some oils can stimulate circulation and relax muscles due to stress.* Constipation is commonly caused by poor diet, either inadequate fiber or fluid intake, or a severely restricted diet.

Poor bowel habits are another common cause of constipation, due to poor toilet training, a change in daily routine (i.e., travel), ignoring the urge to defecate. Medications and illness can make some people prone to constipation.

Essential oils for constipation are a natural way to restore normal bowel function. The best way to apply essential oils for constipation and bowel problems is to massage the lower abdomen over the abdomen over the colon. Once the appropriate oils are chosen, they can be applied in a carrier oil.*
